Sprint (

Alert) has expanded its mobile broadband service coverage in Albuquerque, New Mexico and El Paso, Texas. Customers in those areas now have access to Sprint Mobile Broadband, compatible with EV-DO Rev. A-capable devices.
In Albuquerque, customers are gaining EV-DO coverage from Sprint in areas like the University of New Mexico campus, Sunport, South Valley, Rio Rancho, Cottonwood Mall, Coronado Mall, Winrock Mall, and Sandia Casino, as well as along local stretches of Interstate 25 and Interstate 40.
In El Paso, EV-DO coverage is being expanded to areas including West El Paso Sunland Park Mall, Bassett Place, Cielo Vista Mall, Ft. Bliss, El Paso International Airport, Horizon, and Texas Tech Medical Center.

Sprint claims that customers using EV-DO Rev. A experience significantly faster upload speeds of 350-500 Kbps (compared with 50-70 Kbps on EV-DO Rev. 0 networks) and download speeds of 600 Kbps-1.4 Mbps (up from 400-700 Kbps) on the Sprint Mobile Broadband Network. Internet users can visit
