BATM, a provider of Carrier Ethernet

access solutions Telco Systems (

Alert), recently launched a new website called “Find Your Ethernet Oasis.” The site is designed to be a resource for providers, guiding them through common problem areas related to the deployment of Carrier Ethernet.
The site’s launch combines with Telco’s presence at NXTComm 2008 to address many common challenging questions associated with Carrier Ethernet. These issues include whether it will work with existing infrastructure, how new data services can be offered effectively, how to select the best technology for the network, how to provision and manage access networks and customer sites, and how to ensure SLA

.
Of the numerous options for delivering Carrier Ethernet Services, the ideal solutions should ensure the bottom line, scale to support additional customers and bandwidth requirements, and optimize the total cost of ownership

. The website was created to simplify finding the right solution amidst all the Ethernet solutions currently available on the market.
“Delivering Carrier Ethernet services should not be stressful,” said Manu Kaycee, VP of product technology and strategy. “We are excited to have created a central resource that maps out the common problems encountered in the market today, and deconstructs the myth that deploying Carrier Ethernet is a daunting and costly process, when in reality, deploying this technology can be cost efficient and rather simple.”
Telco Systems’ Carrier Ethernet access solutions are instrumented with AccessNetworking, which ensures revenue-assured delivery of managed converged services. This is embodied in Telco’s line of demarcation devices and access and aggregation switches. Service providers can easily use industry-standard protocols to deploy Carrier Ethernet services in order to bridge the gap between current Ethernet/legacy deployments and future carrier-Ethernet services.
Telco Systems will be participating in NXTComm in Las Vegas June 16–19, sponsoring a drawing for a GPS system. The company is based in Foxboro, Mass. and is a reputed provider of carrier-class transport and access solutions for IP and TDM

networks. Its clients are from the carrier, service provider, and enterprise markets. The suite of products covers solutions for Carrier Ethernet access and demarcation, residential and enterprise VoIP, FTTx, SONET, TDM, and T1

backhaul.
